Marco Rossi, raised in the heart of Tuscany, grew up watching his grandfather, Giovanni Rossi, an artisan shoemaker, craft shoes with care and precision. The smell of leather, the hum of a stitching machine, and the sight of handcrafted perfection were constants in his early life. This environment sparked a deep love for the art of shoemaking, something that was passed down from generation to generation in the Rossi family.
In the 2011, Marco took a bold step and set out on his own journey to create something extraordinary Leathry. Drawing inspiration from his roots, Marco wanted to combine the timeless tradition of Tuscan shoemaking with modern elegance and durability. What began as a passion project in a small workshop in Tuscany has now grown into a global brand known for its craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
At Leathry, every shoe tells a story. From the selection of the finest leathers to the meticulous handcrafting process, we pay attention to every detail. We still source some of the finest leather from Tuscany, but to achieve the perfect finish, we work with skilled artisans in other countries for the final tanning process. The result is a shoe that embodies the beauty, elegance, and durability that Leathry stands for.
